2006 Funding Support Received

The International Iguana Foundation received a total of $20,600 in funding from four granting agencies in 2006.


CEPFThe Jamaican Iguana Recovery Program received a $5,000 grant from the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (a joint program with Conservation International).


MazuriThe annual Mazuri Exotic Animal Nutrition Grant, awarded by the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians, provided $5,500 to support Ricord’s Iguana conservation in the Dominican Republic.


Wildlife_Without_BordersThe U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service supported surveys and training workshops for Ricord’s Iguana in the Dominican Republic through their Wildlife Without Borders grant totaling $8,600.


Audubon Nature Institute

Fijian Iguanas benefitted from $1,500 awarded by the Audubon Nature Institute.
